Benjamin J. Askins, MD

Bio

A native of Johnsonville, South Carolina, Benjamin J. Askins, MD, earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He then completed a family practice residency at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina. Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Askins previously cared for patients of all ages at Lexington Medical Center’s urgent care center in Swansea.

Dr. Askins joins the board-certified physicians, physician assistant and skilled staff at Lexington Family Practice Lake Murray to provide comprehensive care for the entire family – from pediatric and internal medicine care to gynecology services and minor surgeries. The practice also offers on-site X-rays, laboratory services, general ultrasound exams, and stress and cardiovascular testing.
